Throughout my schooling life, I didnt know what I wanted to be in the future. I went to the college but didn’t get the answer. I did my graduation but again remained confused. I started teaching at secondary school but I always wanted to leave because I wanted to do something else. I did my master degree in International Relations from the University of Balochistan, Quetta City, Pakistan to get clear picture but again in vague. I started working as Reporter/Editor with local English daily newspaper “Independent” in Quetta, Pakistan in 1999, which later on further pushed me to work with “Balochistan Times” and “Daily Mirror” local English newspapers of Quetta City, Pakistan.
In the meantime, I started reading short stories and translated some of the English short stories into Urdu language for Daily Jang newspaper Quetta.
Later on, I did Master of Education from the University of Hull, United Kindom and started teaching English Language as an ESOL Tutor at Goodwin Community College Hull.
In my free times, I started writing articles and short stories on socio-political issues of Pakistan and Afghanistan for the Tribune Express, Daily Dawn, the Daily Outlook Afghanistan and other online newspapers.
Now, I’ve started teaching ESOL in a local college in Cardiff City. In my free time, I read stories and write short stories but I still feel to learn more.
